Preschool Sunday School is held during the 10:30 Mass in St. Pius X School. Children must be three, four or five years old (Kindergarten age) to participate. The participation of parent volunteers and student classroom aides makes the program successful. The objective is to give the children a positive experience learning about Jesus' love for all of us and the word of God as it relates to their everyday lives. Materials include a series of books from Sadlier: Discovering God's Child for 3 year olds, Discovering God's World for 4 year olds, and Discovering God's Love for 5 year/Kdgn. students. Music or Bible stories are enjoyed as a large group activity on selected Sundays throughout the year. Traditionally there is an Advent Program in December and a Spring program in late April.
